Get ready to celebrate the love of reading with our upcoming Southampton Township Scholastic Book Fair!! We will have many fun reading activities and events planned for your child the week of November 14th through the 18th. We hope you can come share these events by visiting the Book Fair with your children on the Family Nights, Monday and Wednesday 6pm to 8pm.
This year, our goal is to ensure as many children as possible receive and have access to books. One of the ways we can do that is through the “All for Books” program. With your help, all the money collected goes to purchasing more books for our school and classroom libraries. In 2021, we were able to place new books into EVERY classroom in our schools as well as both libraries. We would like to meet that goal again this year, and exceed it, by putting multiple books into every classroom. We can only do this with YOUR HELP!!
Not only does your donation help our cause, but Scholastic Book Fairs® will match monetary donations with a donation of up to $1 million in books from The Scholastic Possible Fund, which distributes books to children in need through organizations such as Kids in Need Foundation, Reader to Reader, Inc., and the National Center for Families Learning.
Please take a moment to donate $1 and have your child color and sign the attached portrait. Then put your child’s name and their teacher’s name on the back and return to your child’s teacher. All signed portraits will be displayed at our school Book Fair.
